I Wish I had Kids! Stella McCartney for Gap Kids has Launched

Stella McCartney's collection in collaboration with Gap Kids and Baby Gap has me hoping I had kids... Or maybe hoping I was a kid so I could wear this fashion-forward pieces, that besides clearly reflecting Stella's signature style, are more affordable than her regular designer prices.

The collection includes a gray sweater dress for girls with a leopard print on it, skinny gray jeans with ankle zippers, and a very "Balmain" styled band jacket.

Check out the entire collection here.

Oxford Brogues

Blame Agyness Dean on this trend, the gentlemen's Scottish shoes are back!

I'd wear them with cute femenine dresses, or with skinny jeans and a slouchy t-shirt.

British Magazines

Kate Moss, Topshop, Sienna Miller, Burberry, Agyness Deyn, Pixi & Peaches Geldof, Matthew Williamson, Temperley, Alexa Chung, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood...
What's the common denominator in all these? British AND Fashion

I've always loved British Magazines... I go and browse the pages at the magazine store because here in Mexico they are so expensive (about $22 dlls, bollocks!). When I buy one I immediately experiment feelings of guilt, thinking that I could have spent that money on a book or something.

I loved this photos of Sienna Miller (including the cover) by Mario Testino in October's British Vogue.

Kate Moss, Topshop, Sienna Miller, Burberry, Agyness Deyn, Pixi & Peaches Geldof, Matthew Williamson, Temperley, Alexa Chung, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood....
Cual es el comun denominador entre ellos? Britanicos y Fashion!

ACL Recap

Well, I really had intentions of bringing good pictures from ACL, but the downpours of saturday ruined those plans....

The highlights of the festival:

-Phoenix's performance: A-w-e-s-o-m-e. Definitely the best act of Friday. The Band showed very enthusiastic and Thomas Mars, the lead singer repeatedly said "Thank You!" and "Merci Beaucoup" to the crowd, mentioning that it was the biggest crowd they've ever played for. Everyone seemed pleasantly surprised by the amazing show they put on.

-John Legend opened his act LITERALLY in front of me, with Bob Marley's "Redemption Song".

-I saw Molly Sims with a group friends watching the Kings of Leon.

-Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam joined the Kings of Leon onstage for their last song "Slow night, so long", banging a pair of tambourines as hard as possibly.

-Dave Matthews Band rocked the park, keeping thousands of muddy concert-goers entertained.

What I liked most about Austin:

-South Congress Cafe
-Vintage Boutiques
-Cupcake trailers
-Pedicabs

Can't wait for Tim Burton's take on Alice in Wonderland

Alice has always been one of my favorite characters!
As a kid, I watched my betamax cartoon video so many times, that the tape probably wiped out.

That's me and some friends in Alice in Wonderland costumes circa 1983.

Back from The Sea

I spent the weekend Boating with friends within the waters of the Sea of Cortez.
It was amazing in so many ways! Sunny days, great company, whale watching, perfect sunsets and starry nights...
Sometimes it's hard coming back to reality!

Phenomenal Mascara!! Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes

This is really the best lengthening mascara I've ever tried...

At first, the brush might seem a little bit tricky to use (I sticked it inside my eyed the first time I tried it) but you get used to it faster than you think.

In the photos you can appreciate my eye without, and then with the Phenomen'Eyes Mascara.

It gives volume, definition, and lots of length.... Bravo Givenchy!

My Winter Trend Obsession: OTKs

From Left: Rodarte, Louis Vuitton, Gucci

Givenchy, Pucci, Gucci

YSL, Joie, Prada

In past years, if we weren't either superheroes or, ahem.... hookers, we wouldn't be able to pull off the over the knee boot. But since they became the stars of the fall/winter 2009/10 runways, I'm becoming more and more decided to embrace this trend.

Models rocked them in the catwalks of Rodarte, Viviene Westwood, Prada, Chloe, Isabel Marant, YSL, just to mention a few.

From flats to super high platforms, the OTKs are definitely this fall's IT boots.

Will you dare to wear them?

Desperately looking for Boyfriend...

Don't get me wrong, I'm happily married. But I've been looking all over for some boyfriend shorts! Since the super slouchy Boyfriend Jeans craze never felt too suitable for me, I've decided that the shorter, summer-friendly version of this denim trend is what I want to try. What I like about these shorts is that they can be dressed up or down. They'll look equally cute worn with flats, a plain t-shirt and a vest; or with some killer ankle boots and a dressy top. I'm afraid of ordering them online because I think it's a style that must be tried on to assure a nice fit. I've tried on a couple of styles (zara and helmut lang), with no luck...they didn't fit right. I've got my eyes on AG Adriano Goldsmith's Ex Boyfriend Shorts, in the photos they look baggy enough to look "boyfriendish", but not too much as in to make the look saggy.
